In an interview with VOA, Ms. Shameem Selimuddin speaks about the different aspects of adult education programs in the United States. She expresses her satisfaction with this job because her efforts help people enhance their skills and lives in general.

Ms. Selimuddin has students from age 20 to 60 at Baltimore City Community College. She helps them gain basic education so they can pass the state exam and receive the Maryland High School Diploma. She also works at Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Human Services Department. There, she teaches the employees and helps them take the GED test and prepare for other tests in order to help them improve their skills at their job or get promoted to higher positions.

Ms. Shameem Selimuddin is an instructor of Adult Education at the Baltimore City Community College and Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Human Services Department. She studied sociology and education before she became an instructor in the field of adult education.
